Meet Carly

Carly Romano Designs is my independent creative studio. With more than 13 years of experience as an Art Director and Creative Project Manager, I help brands bring ideas to life through creative leadership, strategic thinking, and thoughtful design. My experience spans in-house teams, agency partnerships, and freelance collaborations. As an industry-agnostic creative, I've had the opportunity to work with brands including AdventHealth, JCPenney, Publix, Tupperware, Clean Juice, and One World Observatory. I've also partnered with organizations across healthcare, retail, hospitality, travel, technology, and lifestyle. That breadth allows me to quickly understand new industries, audiences, and business challenges.

I believe great creative work starts with collaboration. Every successful project requires clear communication, thoughtful planning, and a well-defined process. I enjoy bringing cross-functional teams together, aligning stakeholders, managing creative workflows, and guiding projects from concept through final delivery. Beyond client work, I'm passionate about mentoring emerging creatives and sharing the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills that help them grow their careers.

Whether I'm developing a brand identity, launching an integrated campaign, designing marketing communications, or creating digital experiences, my focus is always the same: solve problems, tell meaningful stories, and help businesses connect with their audiences.

Outside of work, I enjoy creating collages, spending time with family, trying new recipes, reading a good mystery thriller, and exploring new places. I believe some of the best ideas come from everyday experiences, and I bring that same curiosity to every project and partnership.
