Objective

Design a custom T-shirt for the AdventHealth Rocky Mountain Region IT Fall Event that celebrates the team’s culture and guiding values. The shirt needed to incorporate AdventHealth brand standards while creating a design that felt unique to the Rocky Mountain Region.

Challenge

The design needed to balance AdventHealth’s established brand guidelines with a visual concept that represented both the IT team and the Rocky Mountain Region. The shirt also needed to clearly communicate the IT team’s Guiding Principles and Service Standards while remaining bold, readable, and wearable for a large internal audience.

Process

I developed a mountain-inspired visual theme to represent the Rocky Mountain Region and create a strong sense of place. The design incorporated AdventHealth’s master logo, Guiding Principles, and a style that reflected the landscape of the region.

To connect the IT focus of the event with the Rocky Mountain Region, I developed a visual concept featuring a circuit-inspired mountain graphic. I tweaked a stock illustration and adjusted the vector paths, creating a design that visually connects technology with the Rocky Mountain landscape.

Typography and layout were carefully considered to ensure the Guiding Principles and Service Standards messaging remained clear and legible when printed on both light and dark blue shirts.

I developed four different design options that explored variations of the mountain concept, typography, and layout while staying aligned with AdventHealth’s brand standards. After reviewing the concepts the team selected their preferred final design.

Solution

The final design featured a circuit-style mountain illustration paired with clean typography and the AdventHealth master logo. The visual approach created a strong connection between technology, regional identity, and the IT team’s culture.

Impact

The custom T-shirt reinforced AdventHealth’s IT service values and team culture. By blending a technology-inspired illustration with regional symbolism, the design created a meaningful piece of branded apparel that resonated with the Rocky Mountain Region IT team.
