Objective

POM is a conceptual direct-to-consumer accessories brand created to explore the design of a modern e-commerce experience from discovery to purchase. Using Figma, I designed responsive mobile and desktop experiences, developed a visual design system, and created interactive prototypes to demonstrate key customer journeys.

The project focused on balancing brand storytelling with usability, creating a shopping experience that felt approachable, engaging, and easy to navigate across devices.

Challenge

Online shoppers expect seamless experiences that help them quickly discover products, understand their value, and confidently complete a purchase. The challenge was creating an e-commerce experience that combined strong visual storytelling with intuitive navigation while maintaining consistency across mobile and desktop platforms.

Process

I began by researching current e-commerce patterns and identifying opportunities to improve product discovery and storytelling. From there, I created user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma before building interactive prototypes to test the overall experience.

To support the brand vision, I incorporated AI tools to generate draft product copy and visual concepts. These assets helped accelerate ideation, establish a clear creative direction, and inform the final designs.

Solution

The final experience included a responsive e-commerce website and mobile shopping experience designed around simplicity, product exploration, and conversion. Key features included:

  • Product listing and collection pages

  • Detailed product pages with supporting imagery

  • Streamlined shopping and checkout flows

  • Consistent design system and reusable components

Impact
