Product Catalog Redesign

Case Study

Art Direction | Print & Digital Collateral

Client: Continental Battery Systems via agency Madison Miles Media

Objective

Redesign the Continental Battery Systems product catalog to create a more modern, visually engaging experience while maintaining alignment with the company’s recent brand refresh. The catalog needed to clearly showcase product offerings, support sales teams, and improve usability for customers and distributors.

Challenge

The existing catalog relied heavily on gritty automotive textures and dense layouts that made product information feel cluttered and outdated. The redesign needed to modernize the look and feel while still honoring the newly established brand identity. The creative needed to balance a more contemporary visual approach with the technical clarity required for a product-heavy catalog.

Process

I evaluated the existing catalog structure and identified opportunities to simplify layouts, improve hierarchy, and increase readability. The redesign intentionally moved away from heavy automotive textures in favor of a cleaner, more modern visual system.

Solution

The redesigned catalog introduced a cleaner, more modern visual language while staying aligned with the Continental Battery Systems brand. Removing the heavy textures allowed product imagery and information to take center stage. The new layout system improved clarity, organization, and overall visual appeal, creating a catalog that feels contemporary and easier to navigate.

Impact

The updated catalog elevated the brand presentation and created a more effective sales tool for internal teams and distributors. Improved hierarchy and streamlined design make it easier for customers to quickly find relevant products while reinforcing the company’s modernized brand identity.
